Tareau’s Three Tunes Tuesdays #5

Yay. Ready for another edition? No you’re probably not. Anyways haha

Jagged Edge f. Loon ‘Promise (So So Def Remix)’

This song samples LL Cool J’s  “I need love” and is one of my favorite songs ever. I will tell you why on a future post (maybe), but man don’t y’all miss Jagged Edge though?

Foreigner ‘Waiting for a girl like you’

Ahh Come on people! You don’t remember this song? When white boys were soulful? Man Lou Gramm was singing his ass off on this song. “Deep in the night” that is my favorite part.

The Notorious B.I.G. f. 112 ‘Sky’s the Limit

I think this was my favorite Biggie song ever. I wasn’t a huge Biggie fan growing up. But I really loved this concept. While Niggaz flirt/I’m sewing tigers on my shirts and alligators/ya wanna see the inside, ill see you later. They did a great job using little kids who all look like, Biggie, Faith, 112, and Puff Daddy.

Catch you next week. Take care

Tareau’s Three Tunes Tuesdays #4

Decided to change it up on this one. I listen to a wide array of music and I wanted to share some with you. You will be surprised on what I listen too.

Player Baby Come Back

That guitar riff at the end tho?

Metallica The God That Failed

Thanks to Beavis and Butthead in the early 90s for introducing me to Rock and roll music. I listen to some Rock and Roll, Metal, and thrash sometimes.

Olivia Newton John Physical

Hahahahahaha yes I know every words. She was getting it in, on the music video, wasn’t She?

Tareau’s Three Tunes Tuesdays #3

En Vogue Don’t Let Go

Man remember when buying the CDs to your favorite movie? Yes buying the soundtrack. I loved the 1996 movie Set It Off. En Vogue was my favorite Woman’s R&B group in the 90s. That passion though? Hahahaha.

Fabolous ft Jazzy Real One

This song is dope. It samples The Fugees “Killing Me Softly” which samples Roberta Flack’s “Killing Me Softly” Rap is always sampling something, right? But I love this jam because it’s paying homage. This is off of Fabolous’s Summertime Shootouts album.

50 Cent Best Friend

Something about soundtracks today. I like this version without Olivia. Back when 50 cent had everything on lock. 2005. “If I’m focused when I’m stroking, I can change how you walk.” Hahaha best line.

Tareau’s Three Tunes Tuedays #2

Well thank you for looking at my 1st music post last week. I got a good response so let’s do it again.

Alessia Cara “Here”

Lmfao yes! I love this song. When I was a tour bus driver, my co workers daughter would always sing this song. I had no idea what she was singing about but I loved the story. About a teenage girl who gets dragged to a party by her friends. She clearly did not want to be at said party. Hahahaha. She was singing her lil ass off tho.

The Jackson 5 “Ready Or Not”

Off of their 3rd Album entitled “Third Album” I think this would be my favorite Jackson 5 song ever. With the utmost respect to the Delfonics, I really liked the Jackson 5 version better.

The Stylistics “One Night Affair”

Off of the hard to find “Love Spell” album, this song says it all. We’ve all been there. Men and Women alike. Man they were so soulful.

As a bonus song the rap group “Little Brother” sampled this song for their hit song “Lovin It” off of their album called “The Minstrel Show”

Well here you are folks. Hopefully this will get you through, what feels like Monday Jr. Tuesday. Hahaha. Thank You

Tareau’s Three Tunes Tuesdays

Ok, I figure I share with you good folks some music from my library every Tuesday. I will be selecting 3 songs. Seeing that I listen to a wide variety of music. Meet me in the comments to discuss.

Marsha Ambrosius “Stronger”

The beautifully gifted singer had T-Money’s blessing to redo Sade’s “Love Is Stronger Than Pride” off of Sade’s Stronger Than Pride album, which was released in 1988. You can find Marsha’s version off her 2014 album Friends & Lovers.

Ann Peebles “Trouble Heartaches and Sadness”

I remember always listening to this song every time my Uncle Renaldo would take me out for one of our crazy adventures. It was always playing in the speakers outside where he hung out at. This song is off of Ann’s Straight from the heart album. I love the pain on her voice.

Link “I really wanna sex your body”

Man y’all remember Link? The 69 song called “Whatcha gonna do”? This song right here though? Man oh man. Hahahaha don’t hurt em Young Tareau. I had to bring it out of retirement. A lot of people do not remember, so it’s my pleasure to take it back. Link also wrote “My Body” by L.S.G. You can find this song on Link’s debut album called Sex Down.

Well I hope You enjoyed my 3 songs. Check back eveey Tuesday for

Tareau’s Three Tunes Tuesdays

Sexually Swindled #1

Warning, the following series contain Adult content. It will make you uncomfortable to talk about. Please skip this article if you do not want to be uncomfortable.

Sexually Swindled is the ultimate level of deception. Misleading the proverbial sheep to make them eat out of your hands. It is how the powers to be enabled their will upon the masses, without lifting a finger. It is to pacify you as a human. To train you not to ruffle feathers and for you to believe everything you see or say. To accept things that are morally and ethically wrong. To ignore said superstar and keep buying their product no matter how heinous their crime is.

Ok now that you know what my meaning of this is, I would like to talk about something that is very uncomfortable to talk about in most platforms. Rape and Pedophilia. We as a society have been trained to accept this culture. We see laws changing to discourage victims. We see certain publications choosing not to acknowledge nor cover certain individuals who do these heinous things. We see back logs of rape kits not being processed and handled correctly. We see law enforcement handle these cases without professional discretion nor decorum. We also see all kinds of excuses for the alleged perpetrator. Before we talk more about this, I would like to go back to something years ago in my life.

The year was 1992. I was 9 years old and one of the R & B groups who was just starting to blow was the group called Immature. I thought they were hella cool because all the girls loved them. They would be shirtless and where backwards hats and sometimes just their boxers. At the time I thought that was cool. I’ll never forget what my mama said. “Tareau, them boys are getting molested. What kind of parents would let their lil boys be running around with just they draws on? Put same god dam clothes on boy.” http://theboombox.com/raz-b-confronts-marques-houston-about-child-sex-abuse/immature Now fast forward to 2010 and a former member of the group B2K Raz-B said he and his brother was molested by the founder of both Immature and B2K Chris Stokes. Chris Stokes would go on to refute these allegations. Hmmmm. Check out this link here. http://www.timesocket.com/celebrities/chris-stokes-confesses-to-child-molesting-of-b2k-and-marques-houston/. So here you have former members of both Immature and B2k saying that members of both groups and their manager molested them, all while no criminal proceedings happening. Mind you Omarion and Marques Houston are both brothers and have both lived lucrative careers. HMMMMMMM. But not really a peep from all the m

ajor publications. Even after admitting to doing the disgusting crime. Nothing.

Chris Stokes isn’t the 1st nor the last person to rape or molest someone. The point of this serious is to acknowledge how the major media spins so many stories. From Michael Jackson, To Roman Polanski, To Woody Allen, To CeeLo Green, To R. Kelly. None of these celebrities have done any jail time, and was able to live a successful career after these scandals. Hell one of the children that Michael Jackson slept with, is blaming other parents for putting Michael Jackson in that position. SMDH. Its right here. http://radaronline.com/celebrity-news/michael-jackson-secret-lover-shana-mangatal-reveals-inside-molestation-scandal/. One of the reasons I am so hell-bent on talking about this subject, we as a people have a duty to others who can not protect themselves. Wrong is wrong no matter what your net worth is, race, political affiliation, gender etc. We are way over due on a morality check regarding this topic. Why is it taboo? So if I say “I don’t like Michael Jackson because he molested little kids!” Something is wrong with me? Really. Well with a mentality that differs from mine, that is why we have these issues. That is why special needs kids are easy targets. That is why we are afraid of sending our children to camps. That is why we do not want our kids on social media. That is why we see so many children on “WHOLESOME” shows dreesing twice their age. Why would sa 10 year old girl want to feel sexy in a tube top? Thats for later on in life. But these dam shoes push these kids as sexual beings. Let them be kids. Why do you think you see a big rebellious “FUCK YOU” once these disney and nickelodeon stars turn 18? (We will touch that briefly later on in this article)

This culture exists because we either allow it or we are too cowardly to talk about it. I mention on a previous article here on thecouchsports.com talking about America’s Rape culture. It was around the time of the Brock Turner sentencing. I too, as a father and a man was disgusted by not only the outcome, but the strong support for Brock. And we wonder why Donald Trump is president? (Boys will be boys, only for athletes or white guys does that apply too). Not talking about Trump’s 2005 comments about PUSSY GRABBING but what about the Rape allegations?? http://www.esquire.com/news-politics/news/a50256/trump-child-rape-accuser-cancels-press-conference/ remember this lady said she was 13 when Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein raped her. Not convinced? ok what about the dozens of Nickelodeon and Disney execs, who get caught molesting children? Not a peep, right? https://www.bing.com/search?q=disney+exec+child+molestation&form=EDGEAR&qs=PF&cvid=99167151a9b94e14bfc23828f3041590&pq=disney+exec+child+molestation&cc=US&setlang=en-US.  Hell what about former Phoenix Suns star Kevin Johnson? Shit, he climbed into a bed , butt naked with a then 16-year-old girl and now he’s the Mayor of Sacramento. http://www.brightsideofthesun.com/2015/9/27/9399819/kevin-johnsons-accuser-speaks-after-20-years-of-silence. I remember when this story broke on sbnation.com and it only had 26 comments. 26 comments and I think 1,000 views. The next article was about Steph Curry’s quick release on his shot and it had tens of thousands of views and hundreds of comments. Based off of that one scenario, one would argue that people do not care about these tragic things because they’re not affected by it. Out of sight, out of mind. But rape, sexual assault, molestation, and pedophilia affects everybody. I can’t stress this enough. Is it guilt or shame that prevents us from talking about this? Is it guilt by association? By that logic, America idolized Adolf Hitler prior to WW2. TIME Magazine’s man of the year in 1938 hitler. So how come people cant say “You know I made a mistake watching this film or listening to this artist”? We need to change. No more excuses. No more beating around the bush. No more delaying things. Because just imagine your child in these horrid situations. Now imagine it’s you. Now imagine the guilt or shame you would have because you refused to talk about these things.

Now Imagine being sexually swindled into ignoring everything I just said!!!

Tareau’s Petty List of arguments

We worry so much in life, right? Bills, health insurance, car notes, rent, mortgage, children, etc. Well it’s time for some dam comedy. Yes yours truly, the  MOST STRAIGHT, PETTIEST MAN aka PETTYKANG is here to help. So check this out.

Who doesn’t love a good argument? Especially when you are either on the winning side, or watching from afar. I miss on TV AND movies in my day, seeing people get TOLD DA F#$% OFF. Here are some of my favorite arguments or people getting told off or checked.

Honorable Mention: Set it off. Luther tells off poor Kimberly Elise and is the worst boss to work for. It’s all good, he gets what’s coming to him, but this part had me in tears!

10. A Thin Line Between Love and Hate. Yes and yes. Lynn Whitfield was a different kind of crazy. Man she is scary. I love this scene. Lmfao how she was provoking mama though.

9. Bebe’s Kids. I really could put the whole movie, but when she told he about her ashyiness, it was over with. And she Hella caught the lotion bottle too.

8. House Party 1. Man I miss Robin Harris. This was my favorite scene because he Hella checked dude who thought he was gonna get a free pass for saying that he was a Muslim. Hahahaha.

7. Lean on Me. So Mr. Clark thinks he’s the HNIC, HUH?

6. Lean on Me. The origin of HNIC

5. Lean on Me. So what we not gonna have is a militant Black man as an incumbent principal tryna check a sistah. No sir.

4. Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Now this is a lighter side of an argument but man RIP James Avery. I would have loved to see James Avery and James Earl Jones in a shouting match.

3. Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Will’s  face as he was instigating though. Little tiny onions swimming in a sea of gravy.

2. Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. When The Real Aunt Viv, took her earrings off though.

The Temptations Movie. You tell em David Ruffin. Ain’t nobody checking for Otis’ punk ass.

1. Poetic Justice. I would never argue Regina King. I’m petty but not dumb. Man she is so fine and good with these roles, right?

Well this was just a random list. What would yours be? Please comment below. I will add more in the near future, until then remember Pettiness is hereditary 😁😁😁😁😁😁😊

So you want to know how I do it huh? Ancient Chinese secrets my dude. Haha, naw. Here in San Francisco, it is the most expensive city to live in. The average median income is about $105k and the average 2 Bedroom Apartment is about $4,200 a month. Minimum wage within the city is $13.50 an hour and this is due to San Francisco being a city/state. The economy is great here in San Francisco and I have to thank my moms for raising me to be a survivor. Forcing me to grocery shopping at the age of 5, I knew about balancing and budgeting at a young age. Now factor in with the cost of living being high, goods and services are high too. You just gotta know how to maneuver in the City. For instance, if any of you guys ever visit, 1st thing you do is call or email me. I used to be a tour guide and I’m a native of this city for 34 years now I’ll tell you what hotel to stay in and what to expect etc. Where to go, where not to go. 2nd thing is you never buy fuel in San Francisco. Or get a rental car. I go outside of the city limits to do a lot of the shopping. Sales tax within the city is 8.5%.

So one way of survival is couponing. Yes being thrifty and frugal is how you can breathe easily especially when you are living paycheck to paycheck. Like, Share, leave comments, please!✌
